We are looking for an experienced Payroller to join our client's team on a temporary basis, starting ASAP. This role is based in Gateshead and offers a hybrid working arrangement.

The role requires someone with experience in a standalone payroll position, with knowledge of the full end-to-end process.

You must be able to commute to Gateshead at least once a week. The role is an on-going position with scope to go permanent for the right person.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing end-to-end payroll for employees
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and deadlines
  • Handling payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
  • Processing starters, leavers, and adjustments
  • Working with finance and HR teams to ensure accuracy

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in full end-to-end payroll processing
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Available for an immediate start
