We are delighted to be working with one of our favourite clients, seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering a maternity leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified professional with international or European accounting experience looking for a long-term contract. The role is to start as soon as possible.

The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office, however this is negotiable for the right candidate (travelling out of area) and offering a salary of £50,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with international and European accounting standards
• Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Support tax and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to senior management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business
• Assist with process improvements and financial system enhancements

About You:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Strong experience in international or European financial operations
• Proven track record in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis
• Excellent knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and with various stakeholders.
